In September 2022, we were able to complete the conversion to biodegradable greases and lubricants for use in our production. This grease is a biodegradable special multi-purpose grease. Due to its high corrosion protection, it preserves the metallic components of your bike from damages such as rust damage. Because of the high water resistance and the long-term lubrication of the special grease, damage caused by water is reduced, so that the individual components of the bike are sustained for a long time. The grease remains functional over a long period of time without the need to re-grease individual areas on the bike. The specific applications of the special multi-purpose grease are, among other things, in the bottom bracket assembly, as well as in the lubrication of the seatpost and the seat post adapter. This assembly grease has been awarded the "Blauer Engel" and the EU eco-label.
We will continue to evaluate all the materials we use in our production for sustainability and, as in this case, change to more environmentally friendly products.
